As I was setting a program in place for the continuous cleaning and clearing of non-beneficial energy from my home and office, I realized that all I had to do to set this program into motion was declare it to be so. Three times with conviction. It reminded me of Dorothy’s Oz clicking her heels or the casting of a spell from fairytales.
Is it really that simple? Is the power of our word so great? All we have to do is believe and declare it to be so? Can we be children again and just dream and believe?
The more I read and the more energy work I do, the more I realize this to be the case.
It works! Visualize and declare your truth.
Using the declarations listed below, now, I don’t need to bother about who comes to the house and what they leave behind. I don’t need to worry about picking up others’ energetic residue.
An example of what you could declare to cloak yourself: (quotes from Alyssa Malehorn, my amazing Reiki teacher)
“I affirm that there is a tube of light coming from the Holy Spirit in through the top of my head filling me on every level known and unknown to me, all the way down to the core of the Earth.
I inhale the light, flushing all non-beneficial energy down to the center of the Earth, as I surround myself with the pure white light of God, so that no non-beneficial energy may penetrate.
I inhale the light again, flushing all incoherent energy down to the center of the Earth, as I surround myself with the pure white light of God, so that no incoherent energy may penetrate.
I inhale the light, flushing all non-useful energy down to center of the Earth, as I surround myself with the pure white light of God, so that no non-useful energy may penetrate.”
An example of what you could declare to clear your space:
“I now create a space/program here, where every morning when the sun comes up and every evening when the sun goes down, this space will be continuously cleared with the highest and purest healing light. With every breath that is taken in this space, this space is continuously cleared and cleaned.”
(And as my plants breathe as well, they are excited to be a part of this healing program! One more reason to keep plants.)
These declarations are more powerful than salt and sage, because we, our words and beliefs, are more powerful. We’ve just forgotten who we really are. The first declaration is to be done daily, like putting on clothes before you leave the house. The second declaration is to be done after the first and then as needed, likely much less frequently.
Whenever I feel fear for the security of my home, vehicle, or body, I also call upon the highest and purest form of Archangel Michael (the Protector) for safety. A direct connection to God will accomplish the same purpose, but a large part of the angels’ existence is to be of service to us, so why not call upon them. We, however, have to engage our free-will and ask for help if we want them to intervene on our behalf.
When I sense dissonant energy in my home (which I haven’t, by the way, since I put my clearing program in place) I envision my house, floor and ceiling, wrapped in nets of golden light. There are 4 bright blue pillars of light at the corners, which turn golden as the house fills with light. As a bonus, I also play classical music (ragas) several days a week and open the windows letting in fresh air when possible. Fill your home with love. Love is the paramount weapon against negativity.
Love your body and love your space. It will love you back.
