A change of seasons is a great time for reflection and new beginnings.
Looking back over the past months, I am so thankful for all of you who have shown such interest in Ayurveda and have been open to taking those first, often unfamiliar steps towards a more sustainable kind of good health.
Through its insights into our minds, bodies, and environment, Ayurveda gives us the tools to achieve what Neil and I call a “finer balance.” To find this finer balance is to enjoy the best of the beauty and bounty that surrounds us while committing to choices that promote optimal physical, mental, and spiritual health within us. Optimal health frees us to experience the present in its totality and we believe that this is the secret to living happier, fuller, richer lives.
So with that, we are very excited to share with you the Finer Balance newsletter! One of Ayurveda’s great strengths is in the way it combines general principles for building a happy, healthy lifestyle with a customized approach to creating specific solutions tailored to a person’s unique constitutional needs.
These newsletters will be a forum for us to share with you some of those general Ayurvedic principles, coupled with simple but powerful lifestyle recommendations that we hope will address your most common questions and concerns.
